Ingredients:
¼ cup celery (finely chopped)
½ cup onion (finely chopped)
¾ cup DMP Farmers Sausage
1 cup cooked potato chopped coarse
¼ cup margarine
¼ cup flour
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
Shredded Sharp Cheddar to garnish
Directions:
Sauté celery, onion and Farmer sausage in margarine until veggies are tender but not browned. Add flour to make a roux and cook over low heat stirring regularly for 3-4 minutes being careful not to brown Turn to medium heat and add chicken stock. Whisk until smooth bringing to a soft boil. Add potatoes and milk and reduce heat to low. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Garnish with cheese and stir.
